Bio:

Dr. Tran earned his B.S. in Mechanical Engineering from Ho Chi Minh City University of Technology, Vietnam, in 2012, his M.S. from Southern Taiwan University of Science and Technology in 2014, and his Ph.D. from National Cheng Kung University, Taiwan, in 2018. In 2023, he joined the Department of Mechanical Engineering at National Taipei University of Technology as an Assistant Professor. Dr. Tran has authored and co-authored 20 journal articles and 16 conference papers. He holds one Taiwan patent and two U.S. patents. His research interests include Laser Powder Bed Fusion Process, Numerical Modeling, and Modeling for Laser Processing.
