Bio:

Dr. Cho-Pei Jiang earned his Ph.D. from National Taiwan University of Science and Technology in 2003. He began his career as a researcher at the Biomedical Technology and Device Research Center of the Industrial Technology Research Institute (ITRI), where he worked from 2003 to 2007. Following this, he served in the Department of Power Mechanical Engineering at National Formosa University from 2007 to 2018, advancing through the ranks from Assistant Professor to Associate Professor and then Professor. In 2017, Dr. Jiang spent time as a visiting scholar at the University of Auckland in New Zealand. Since 2018, he has been a Professor in the Department of Mechanical Engineering at National Taipei University of Technology. Dr. Jiang has authored over 111 journal papers and holds 8 patents in Taiwan. He is currently the President of the Additive Manufacturing Society of Taiwan and a board member of the 3D Printing Association. He has been involved in numerous international collaborative research projects with institutions including the University of Waterloo in Canada, Auckland University of Technology in New Zealand, GdaƄsk University of Technology in Poland, Shenzhen University in China, Oregon Institute of Technology in the United States, and the University of South Australia in Australia. He frequently collaborates with industry to undertake industry-academia joint projects, with the goal of commercializing his research achievements. To this end, he co-founded Enlighten Materials Co., Ltd. and Core-Tech Co., Ltd.
