Bio:
Dr. Shu-Han Hsu obtained a Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering from National Taipei University of Technology in 2007. After graduation, he worked as a mechanical engineer in the industry. In 2011, he went to Sendai, Japan, and in 2017, he received his Ph.D. in Engineering, specializing in Mechanical Systems and Design, from Tohoku University. He returned to Taiwan in 2018 and has been a faculty member in the Department of Mechanical Engineering at National Taipei University of Technology since then. He has also served as the chief of the International Student Affairs Section in the Office of International Affairs and is currently an Assistant Professor. Dr. Hsu focuses on research subjects in thermoacoustic effects, with interdisciplinary expertise in acoustics, vibration, control, and thermal fluid dynamics.
