Bio

Dr. Da-Hua Wei received his Ph.D. in Materials Science and Engineering, National Tsing Hua University in 2005. He worked at the Institute of Physics, Academia Sinica, as a postdoctoral research fellow from 2006 to 2007. He joined the faculty member in the Department of Mechanical Engineering/ Institute of Manufacturing Technology at National Taipei University of Technology from 2008 as assistant professor, associate professor, professor. He has awarded as Distinguished Professor from 2023.

He is also as a visiting scholar at Academia Sinica from 2010. He has published more than 130 SCI journal papers, and also hold 5 patents.

Research Interest

Development of Magnetoelectric Materials and Devices, Fabrication of Nanomaterial-based Devices for Biological Sensing and Hot Treatment, Application of Functional Data Storage Medium, Development of 0 ~ 2 Dimensional Semiconducting Materials and Devices, Development of Green Energy and Battery Materials, Design and Manufacture of Low-dimensional Self-assembly and Artificial Structures from Nano to Micro Scales.
